CLIMB finds The Dallas Opera in a Suitcase

On October 13th, The Dallas Opera in a Suitcase visited the CLIMB after-school program at Gaston Middle School.

The Dallas Opera in a Suitcase is an interactive program that brings the Opera to students in engaging ways: they provide background and insight on the production, meaning and art form, as well as visual arts projects and music activities to enrich the learning experience. Jerry Hawkins, Wilkinson Center’s Assistant Program Director - Children’s Services, is excited that all of the CLIMB children will experience the program as it visits our other sites this fall.
